These photos were all taken late one evening in the Albaicin quarter of Granada, Spain. I am not a huge fan of "street photography", as it can be intrusive. But it was difficult not to see the narrow alleys, bars and pavements as a stage set for my benefit, and the visitors and locals as the players acting out their parts - so I could not resist the temptation to record it all on camera.
Technical details: all photos were taken with a Leica M9 and 35mm Summilux lens, mostly at ISO 800, between f/1.4 and f/2.8, and between 1/30s and 1/60s. Post-processing in Adobe Lightroom was mainly cropping, white balance adjustment (always a major issue with mixed light sources) and noise reduction.
